The Development of Container
Terminal No. 9 sits on a 150-hectare site on South East Tsing Yi,
of which 120-hectare is formed by reclamation.
The development consists of 6 berths.
Backup Area includes new Marine Basin, together with
re-provisioning of water front facilities for the existing Chemical
Waste Treatment Facility.
Terminal Area includes the movement of container. Within the yard
storage areas by Rubber Tyred Gantries. Rail mounted quay cranes will
be utilised at the waterfront for loading and unloading containers.
Dredging and Reclamation:
-Marine
muds on the seabed below the terminal area will be fully dredged while
the dredging at the backup area will be partial. Dredging for fairway
realignment and the deepening of Rambler Channel will also be carried
out.
-The
estimated total quantity of marine mud to be excavated is 23.6 million
cubic metre.
-Borrow
areas for marine sand is located between South Tsing Yi and Green
Island. The estimated total quantity of excavation is 34 million cubic
metre.
Quay Structure:
-The
coast alongside the quay will be dredged to an maintained depth at
approximately 15.5m.
-The
foundation of the quay deck will be constructed with 1,847 nos. of
1m dia. pile, each in an average length of 45m.
-the
quay deck is designed as a reinforced concrete structure stretching
for 1,940m. |

九號貨櫃碼頭位於青衣東南面,佔地總面積約150公頃,其中120公頃為填海地。
後勤用地-包括新建的道路,以應付貨櫃港發展交通網絡為後勤用地而出現的交通流量。
工程亦包括興建一個全新的船隻停泊區,以及重建海傍設施給現有的化學廢料處理中心。
貨櫃碼頭區採用輪胎式龍門吊機處理貨箱場內的貨箱,以及於海傍操作的行軌式岸邊吊機起卸貨箱。
挖泥及填海工程:
- 整個貨櫃碼頭區與部份後勤用地的海床泥土將被挖走,而航道重整及藍巴勒海峽的加深海床工程亦將進行。
- 挖泥總數量約為2,360萬立方米。
- 作填海用的沙石將於青衣南面及青洲之間的區域挖掘,取沙總數約3,400萬立方米。
岸邊設施:
- 沿岸水深將挖至約15.5米。
- 岸邊橋面將採用1,847支直徑1米的樁柱作地基,樁柱平均長度為45米。
- 岸邊橋面將以鋼筋混凝土興建,長度為1,940米。 |
