The Site is located in Area 33, Tai Po. The Works under this project
is to provide additional links to Tai Po Industrial Estate including:
(a) Construction of approximately 500m of dual two-lane carriageway
linking Yuen Shin Road at about 300m south of its junction with
Ting Kok Road with Dai Fat Street to serve as an additional link
to Tai Po Industrial Estate;
(b) Construction of Local Distributor Roads L33/1 and L33/2;
(c) Construction of a public transport terminus;
(d) Construction of the associated footpaths, cycle tracks and
amenity areas; and
(e) Construction of the associated drainage and sewage works.
PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
This project involves extensive road & drainage works. Basically,
work areas are divided into 2 Sections.
In Section I, the works comprise the formation of a pedestrian
flow from Yuen Shin Road to Dai Fat Street with the provision of
precast concrete blocks as temporary soil retaining structure during
formation.
In Section II, the works comprise majority roads and drainage
work for the following:
(a) The completion of Link Road A (Portion of it belongs to Section
I);
(b) The Construction of new Road L33/1 which links Ting Kok Road
to Dai Fat Street;
(c) The Construction of new Road L33/2 which links the proposed
Road L33/1 and Link Road A (North to South connection);
(d) The Construction of a bus terminus near Road L33/1;
(e) The junction modification for Yuen Shin Road and Ting Kok
Road;
(f) The resurfacing portion of Yuen Shin Road; and
(g) All other miscellaneous works such as fencing, traffic signs
and hydroseeding.

大埔33區開發項目
該項目工地位於大埔33區內，工程為大埔工業村提供額外連接線，包括：
－ 建造約500米長的雙線雙車道道路，在完善路與汀角路交叉處南面300米處連接到大發街，作與大埔工業村之間的額外連接線；
－ 建造地區支線道路L33/1和L33/2；
－ 修建一公共交通總站；
－ 修建相應的人行道，自行車道和康樂區；以及
－ 修建相應的排水和污水設施。
工程要點
本工程基本上可分為道路和排污工程兩大部分。 第I部分，修建從完善路到大發街的人行道，施工期間採用預製混凝土方磚作為臨時地面防護層。
第II部分，主要有下列道路和排污工程：
－ 完成A連接路（該工程之部分屬於第I部分之內容）；
－ 修建連接汀角路和大發街的新道路L33/1；
－ 修建連接L33/1路和A連接路的新道路L33/2（南北向）；
－ 修建一座靠近L33/1路的巴士總站；
－ 完善路和汀角路交彙處的改建工程；
－ 重鋪完善路路面；以及
－ 其他全部附屬工程，如圍欄，交通標誌和種草籽。
